LPJ Fine Arts is a non-commercial fashion collection.
In collaboration with the best international fashion schools, unique and artistic items of high upcycling fashion are created for inspirational purposes.
LPJ has already been working with ESMOD Schools (Paris, Munich, Berlin, Lyon and Roubaix), Polimoda Florence, several german fashion schools like JAK Hamburg, AMD Munich and Berlin, Design Factory Stuttgart and HTW Berlin. Bouley and her team offer upcycling workshops for fashion design students. With the aid of a jury, LPJ awards prizes to the best designs. The Hedwig Bouley design workshop thereby supports the next generation of creative talent and is developing a fashion design network where connections are created between students and the industry.
An archive is being established for the designs developed and produced with the fashion students. These textile objects can be purchased or borrowed in return for a fee.
The model for this concept is the Italian “Modateca Deanna”, a well-used source of inspiration for people interested in design throughout the world.
